Centre for Slovenian as a Second/Foreign Language
The Centre for Slovene as a Second/Foreign Language extends understanding of the Slovene language, literature and culture on an international scale. It also encourages international research in Slovene language and literature, organises professional and scientific conferences and develops the complete infrastructure for attaining, examining and certifying proficiency in Slovene as a second/foreign language.

Textbooks, published by the Centre for Slovenian language, are available at the Bookstore at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, and some other textbooks and reference books can be obtained from the Society for Slovene Studies.
You can also try Distance Slovene, a program for remote, internet based learning of Slovenian, which is offered by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education and Sport.
