In NEW YORK: Slovenian jazz evening with screening of a music documentary, Time to Improvise
The film reveals the creative urge and creative processes of young musicians who choose to gain their knowledge abroad by studying with world-renowned mentors. The director, Tina Lešničar, followed the protagonists to New York, Amsterdam, Groningen, Rotterdam and Vienna to catch a glimpse of their world.
After the screening, the musicians featured in the film will perform live for the audience:
Jure Pukl - tenor saxophone (2015 Prešeren Fund Prize recipient)
Will Slater – bass
Žan Tetičkovič – drums
Followed by a conversation with the director, Tina Lešničar.
