Kurentovanje in Cleveland
Please join the Slovenian community of Cleveland in celebrating Kurentovanje in our historic Slovenian neighborhood. Our schedule of events is as follows:
Monday, February 25th – Kurentovanje Multi-course Dinner, featuring three chefs from Slovenia
Tuesday, February 26th – The Slovenian Museum & Archives presents an exhibit on France Prešeren
Wednesday, February 27th – Slovenian Craft Night: Make Your Own Cutting Board
Thursday, February 28th – The Slovenian Consulate presents: “Becoming a Dual Citizen of Slovenia: Connecting your Heritage to Citizenship”
Friday, March 1st – Kurent Jump
Saturday, March 2nd – 5K, Kurentovanje Parade & Festival
Events will be held at the historic Slovenian National Home, and other venues in the neighborhood. All guests are highly encouraged to display their Slovenian heritage through national costume or other Slovenian clothing.
