Ambassador Tone Kajzer presented credentials to Panama

On March 17 Ambassador Kajzer presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama Ms. Darya Carrizo via a virtual ceremony. The presentations of the originals to the president Laurentino Cortizo are still pending. 

The conversation focused on bilateral relations and the possibilities of intensifying contacts within different multilateral frameworks and organizations where we have the same or similar interests. Ambassador Kajzer highlighted the role of Honorary Consul in the development of economic and relations in the field of culture and science and presented Slovenia's key activities in the field of digital transformation. He also spoke about the International Center for Artificial Intelligence under the auspices of UNESCO, which operates at the Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana and which aims to build capacity to strengthen cooperation with the Latin American  region.
